Day by Day itinerary:
APRIL 3: Meet in Leysin review gear, conditions
April 4: Transfer to les Diablerets, ride the lift to Diablerets glacier and start the tour, traverse to Wildhorn hut, via Arpelistock, Wildorn 3246m. Widorn hut.
April 5: From Wildhorn hut to Wildstrubel hut via the Ravil pass.
April 6: From Wildstrubel hut to Gemmi pass hotel. We will traverse the Plaine Morte, Climb the Wildstrubel 3,243m. and enjoy a great descent to Lammerswee.
April 7: Gemmi pass to Kandersteg via the Stegpass and down to Ueschinen,Kandersteg
Hotel for the nigth
April 8: Kandersteg to Mutthorn 2,901m. hut via Petersgrat. We will walk tto the eend of the valley to Heimritz, ski up the Kanderfin glacier.
April 9: Muthorn hut to Flaferalp and Hannen hut. We will ski up to Petersgrat at 3,207m and ski down to Flaferalp at 1788m. later on tthat day we will ski climb to Hannen hut 2,366m.
April 10: Hannen hut to Concordia hut via Loschenluke at 3,178m. this tour will give us access to the Berner Oberland High ground. Skiing the Langglestcher and the GrosserAletscherfin glacier to thhe Concordia hut at 2,850m.
April 11: Concordia hut to Finteraar hut 3,048m. via the Grunhornlucke 3,286m. we will option to ski ; Gruneegghorn 3,860m, Weissnollen 3,594m. Agassihorn 3,953m.
April 12: Finsteraar to Oberaar hut, 3,223m. But first we will ski either the Finsteraarhorn at 4,274m. or tte Gross Wannenhorn 3,905m.
April 13: Oberaar hut to Munster and return to leysin. Just out of the hut we will ski ascent the Galmihorn 3,517m. then we will ski down to Munster at 1,388 m. An exceptional descent starting across glacier, passing by alpine level, high meadow, and finishing in the forest. Just amazing !!!!(7,026 ft vertical !!!!!!!!!!!!)
Difficulty:
This tour crosses the entire Berner Oberland, each day are moderate to difficult but we will spend several nights in hotels giving us good rest. We will use a lift to access thhe Diablerets glacier but the goal is to avoid lifts and cable car. You must be able to ski any type of snow with a pack
